About me
To me, art has always been very personal, a way to communicate an impression or a feeling with others. I am inspired by relationships between people and things, like family, nature, and biology.
I work in many mediums - felting, printmaking and alcohol ink paintings. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an area of emphasis in printmaking from Murray State University, Murray, KY. After graduation I moved to Lexington, KY, where I create art in my home studio.
You can find my work at the Artisan Center at Berea, Berea, KY, indigenous: a handmade gallery, Cincinnati, OH, various art markets and exhibits (check the Exhibitions and Events page) and my Etsy shop, Studio Lucina.
